Overview
The DTS program provides an introduction and overview of the roles and responsibilities of the steel detailer. This program consists of 10 Modules – most with multiple parts. Each of these parts consists of a series of videos, followed by a quiz pertaining to the concepts covered in that section. Click on a module listing on the DTS page to begin. At the end of the (entire) course is a final exam. A certificate of completion is earned upon passing this exam. Each exam can be repeated until a passing score is achieved.

Content
The content is delivered through a series of videos. Video playback begins automatically. As one video finishes, the next will load and play until you reach the end of the module (or module part). As you watch the videos, mark off your progress on your printed document.

Bookmarking
If you leave the site while watching the videos, you can bookmark the link in your browser. This link will take you back to last video you started in the module.

Drawings
Throughout the program, the videos refer to a series of technical drawings. These drawings may be viewed in a browser, PDF viewer or downloaded in PDF form to view in greater detail and for note taking. The home page provides a list of all drawings used in the series, and while watching videos any pertinent drawings are listed in the left column.

Quizzes
Each module has a quiz or multiple quizzes to test your knowledge of that section. When you reach the end of each quiz, regardless of how well you did, record your score on your printed document. If you did not pass, you may go back and review the content or retake the quiz until you achieve a 70% or above.

Final Exam
Once you have completed each Module, you will be required to complete the final exam. The final exam consists of two randomly selected questions from each quiz. Like the quizzes, you must score 70% or better to pass. Upon scoring a passing grade, you will be permitted to print a certificate of completion. Please read the disclaimer below prior to printing the certificate.
